Chess Explorer has a backlit LCD screen to make viewing the chess clock easy. Chess clock has ticking sound effect for more authentic tournament play. (can be turned on/off) 64 levels of play to adjust to your current playing ability. Auto power down will conserve your battery life. (can be turned on/off) Chess Explorer has an opening book library with the ability to handle transpositions. A transposition occurs when a position reached by a certain set of moves can also be reached when those same moves occur in a different order. Chess Explorer records your games. When a game is over, you can play to any position to see how other moves, or different strategies might have affected the outcome. |
